We can hardly believe its already February and that 2013 has been over now for more than a month. This time last year, we were excitedly announcing to the world how our lives were going to change, in the best possible way - experiencing that raw excitement that every expecting parents have. It was the shortest, longest & most crazy year of our lives this far!
My pregnancy was the type that we would wish for any first time (or any) mom, with few aches, pains, or discomforts. We enjoyed our last months as a "couple" by camping (yes- in a tent), fishing, prepping for baby, and enjoying 7+ hours each night of uninterrupted sleep. Which, is a very rare delicacy now.

In early September, we welcome Norah into our now little family - a happy and healthy baby girl who's sweet smile has captured our hearts completely.

Now February is upon us once again... this time instead of being three months pregnant, we have this beautiful five month old. We look forward to watching her grow during this new year. She has already sprout up faster than we ever thought she would! Every day she looses more and more of that "teeny tiny" baby look. She's now an infant who likes to sit & play, and is getting more independent each day. In no time at all, she'll be unstoppable!
As excited as we get with each milestone she reaches, the realization of how fast she's growing is starting to hit. We want to keep track and record as much of these baby years as possible- and we know many of our friends and family do too. Therefore, to keep everyone up to date on our beautiful babe & our little family, we decided to begin this blog.
